Back road off the main highway and behind the resorts where the garbage and employee parking is. It is hot!! All and all they went out their way for my wife's 50th birthday celebration, 4 birthday cakes and celebrations throughout the day! Awesome stuff right there! The one complaint is the location and getting there. The only issue with the restaurants was the pants rule in the French and Italian, dumb rule! Nice shorts, shirts and no flip flops should be attire. Room service was good, took a few extra minutes, but fine. We liked the International Spoon, Silk City, Picante, the pool side restaurants (both Breathless and Secrets), and the Nook for coffee and snacks.
The restaurants are fine, food is good, and if you don't like something the will make you something else. Great job gang we appreciated the service! Preferred Club is great and even better when a UVC member! Luis in the bar is great and the concierge team of Martin and Karim make sure your stay is very comfortable. The staff is the difference! At the pool, David will entertain you all day long if you want or just let you lay there! If you do lay there, Mar and Cruz are on you in a flash with drinks! Fabian and Bailey are the pool concierges and will know if you don't belong by the Secrets pool. All rooms are Preferred and have great views, adequate mini bars (we had Belvedere Vodka, mini liquors, beers, sodas, water, mixers, and mixing needs), nice showers, a huge bed, couch, and patio furniture. But at Secrets Riveria Cancun they will do their best to make sure you are comfortable everywhere you go. I read plenty of reviews and constantly people are complaining about the pillows, the shower pressure, etc. If you want top notch customer service this is a GREAT resort.
